"Budapest Eye" Lookout Plan

As tourism develops rapidly and its appeal increases, there is increasingly more interest worldwide to utilise the new elements of tourism - such 21st century developments that make it possible to increase the number of visitors, the time spent at a site and the quality of the services.

As a response to this demand, the thought came about that, as in many other metropolises, a lookout building should be constructed in Budapest, combining high-end technology with the historical environment, hopefully in turn becoming a modern landmark of the Hungarian capital.

The unique natural and architectural features of the Citadel, towering above the city, make it the ideal venue for the "Budapest Eye" lookout tower.
